If you have a favourite blog that you’d like to be considered for inclusion in TWIM, please leave the name and the URL as a comment on this page. Please bear in mind that the blog will have to predominantly focus on mental health issues, though writing from both professionals and patients (and both!) is welcome (as long as the content is non-commercial in nature).

Can you add mine! http://sketchesofchaos.wordpress.com/
Aww. I’m no longer in the TWIM list. I guess that’s as I’ve not blogged for months and have generally disappeared off the radar!
You’re on it now
I was going to put you on it but saw you hadn’t blogged for months, so thought maybe you’d left the Madosphere. Since you’re still here after all, you’re still part of it as far as I’m concerned

Can you add me please?? Thanks, http://mentalfool.wordpress.com
Done
Sorry for the delay.
Thank you sweetness

Hey there, its Katieinwonderlandx. Moved my blog over to http://recoveryroundabouts.wordpress.com/
Could you add it thanks? xxx
Not sure if I fit the criteria or not, blogging about my journey off Prozac. http://prozacwithdrawal.blogspot.com/ Would love to find any other blogs on this issue if they are out there, not found any yet.
I would love to be included in your list of mentalists! I’m a UK recovered ED blogger, but waffle on about all sorts of rubbish. Erm, or if I’m selling myself, highly interesting and topical issues. Right.
http://www.giantfossilizedarmadillo.com (formerly themilkfreeway – I’ve been around for a couple of years now)
Oh, I’m getting myself confused, I was just tweeting you to ask if I could write TWIM somewhen. Don’t mind me

My blog is about my life with dissociative identity disorder (multiple personality disorder):
http://dissociativeidentitydisorderandme.blogspot.com/
http://showard76.wordpress.com BPD sufferer who writes about other stuff, but always includes her mental health in what she writes about…
I’d like to suggest my blog. It’s very creative (and random.) hopscotch-avalanche.blogspot.com
maybe you can include me too… my blog is still pretty new, I want to write about spritiuality/theology as well as complex PTSD (my diagnosis), but it seems my mind is full of mental issues right right now (the theology stuff thankfully works sometimes as a distraction), so it will be mostly a mental health blog for some time.
http://cath-nos.blogspot.com/
I’d like to suggest the excellent and articulate writings of Katherine, who writes “A Schizophrenic and a Dog http://www.aschizophrenicandadog.com
She writes about her illness, but also about her service dog and career as a service dog trainer, which is something we don’t get to hear much about in the UK as it seems to be a relatively “new” thing for people with mental health problems.
She’s quite a shy person, and does suffer from paranoia, so she may take quite some time to respond if she feels unsafe. However, her stuff is so valid and perceptive to many readers of TWIM that she deserves recognition.

Could you switch my old blog for my new one please?
Um, a bit embarrassed to suggest my own blog, but (so far) I seem to be unique amongst bloggers in that I’m actually a parent and it is my daughter who has the mental illness: http://juliesmum.blogspot.com.

Could I be added to your mentalists?
http://mindfuckery.wordpress.com
I write mostly about being a mental health patient, and the issues that I have to deal with because of being mentally ill.
I would be honored to be added. My blog is about my bipolar disorder, my self-harm, my suicides, and everything in between.

Could I be added please?

Hi,
Can I suggest the removal of Discussing Dissociation from “The Professionals” list. The writer has been the subject of disciplinary processes. She also hasn’t written in a long time.
Regards,
CG
(if you could remove my comment before or after reviewing it, I’d appreciate it as her supporters are rather rabid)
Can you add me to the list? I don’t comment often but I read TWIM regularly.
My blog is for commercial and educational purposes and is focused on stress, anxiety, depression and the pursuit of happiness, so according to your guidelines I cannot post it here.
However, what I did want to say is that I think your idea for this blog is fantastic as people with these mental health issues can read about others who share their problems and hopefully it will help in the healing process for them.
I also think that blogging about a mental health issue can also be very therapeutic for the person suffering with it. (although somewhat scary to have people read about such personal issues in your life). So I congratulate you all for writing about your problem.
Best wishes.

Will add ASAP
I’d be delighted if you’d add my blog about bipolar disorder and ADHD…

Just started a new blog can you add me?

A newer blog that deals with more than just mental illness, but that is definitely included!
http://aweebleswonderings.blogspot.com/
My life as on of the ‘wobbly ones’ dealing with depression, and chronic fatigue syndrome, whilst workingas a church minister.
I use a psuedonym for privacy of those I work with more than myself.
Hi there….Um, I’m not sure if my blog is worthy enough of being included in your list, but I would love to connect with others who might understand what mental health struggles are like…I’ve battled with severe anxiety for most of my life, particularly social anxiety (to the point of being agoraphobic) aswell as major depression, and an eating disorder…I also blog about my love of cake decorating, mainly to offset the negativity/emotional nature of the mental health posts…
If my blog’s not suitable, that’s ok, just thought I would try
My new blog is up and running now, would be great to be part of TWIM again … http://frizzychaos.wordpress.com/
Would you include my blog, http://www.viewfromtherollercoaster.com?
I have just put up http://www.bipolarbylines.wordpress.com, too. It’s a TWIM-type blog, but I’m trying to moderate it in such a way that it is a little more bipolar-oriented since that’s what I’ve been dealing with since my diagnosis in the early 70′s. (I’ve survived long enough to see it re-named from manic depression!)
My http://www.tracyrevalee.com blog is a little more commercial, with a page from which one can buy my book, so I don’t think you’d want it here but I would certainly welcome a visit.
Thanks for your consideration.
I found this new blog yesterday, from the initial post it could be a good one to add to TWIM!

I have had a private blog since 2006 and have recently started an anonymous public blog. No sure if it will be of any interest though as all I do is rant about how i’m feeling. http://somehowmorebroken.blogspot.com/

Hi Terry
We’re always looking for opinion pieces to publish, so if you have any suitable topics drop me a line on thus_spake_z at hushmail dot com.
Totally narcissistic, but can i suggest my own blog?

Great site! A friend of mine told me about This Week in Mentalists and I’m glad to see another site about mental illness. We need more people to help fight against the stigma surrounding mental illness and blogs are definitely a great start.
Like a lot of the previous comments, I blog about my struggles with mental illness and addiction. I have been blogging on and off for the last 2 years and I was wondering if you would be willing to add my blog, Struggling with the Elephant in the Room, to your site:

Thank you for your time and I hope you have a wonderful evening,
Dave.
